National Patents
This title grants the right of an exclusive manufacturing exploitation of the patented invention, and prevents others of produce, sell or use the invention without the owner's permission.

The Patent validity is twenty years from the date of its application. It is required to pay annual taxes in order to keep the protection current.

European Patent / PCT
Procedure of the European Patent or via PCT . With the PCT system, an invention protected can be requested in each of the countries of the International Treaty (118 countries, date March 6 th , 2003), through an only International application.

The European Patent system offers protection through a direct European Patent application in the Community in which protection is required, within the European Agreement of Patents (28 countries, dated in July 1 st , 2004).

The application of an European patent is processed by the European Patent Office ( EPO ) and the concession produces the effect to grant a National Patent in each designated states.

Mentioned Patents have a period of one year to use its priority right from the date of its application, presenting any deposit in other countries with regular national deposit value, according to the legislation of every country.

National Phase of European Patents
